Scientology Nightmares

Part of PTSD and recovery from trauma is experiencing nightmares as we re-categorize and sort out what happened to us in our past. In this short clip, I discuss how this has gone for me and how, thankfully, as time and distance grow I experience this less and less. Enjoy!

  1. I am fascinated with the PTSD nightmares people have after leaving Scientology, particularly those who were in high-stress positions in the Sea Org. I had nightmares every single night when I first left. After a year or so, they diminished. Usually I was back at the Int Base, trying to figure out how to leave. I had one nightmare where DM and his entourage showed up at my Santa Barbara bungalow to take a meeting with me. I woke up laughing, it was so ridiculous. These days I rarely have Scientology nightmares. When I do, it is usually me trying to get some job done despite the stupidity and interference of clueless “executives.”
